Principal Quality Operations Specialist

The Principal Quality Operations Specialist interprets internal or external business issues and recommends best practices. They may be tasked with solving complex operations-related problems and will work independently with minimal guidance. As such, they must have in-depth expertise in Operations and broad knowledge of the Operations Discipline within the Subsea Quality Function. Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Review contract scope of work, specification, Project Execution Plan, and accepted qualifications and identify unique requirements or special processes during the project that require control for effective examination & reliability.
• Direct and participate in the activities of the Project Management Team to ensure product quality.
• Maintain and track the project NCR register, ensuring timely closure of non-conformances and initiating Fit-for-Purpose evaluations for non-conforming items where applicable.
• Plan the project audit program and conduct audits to ensure compliance with internal processes, procedures, and applicable requirements.
• Liaise with the Inspection Agency to ensure sufficient resources are allocated and available for the effective execution of daily inspection and project activities
• Liaise with the project Personnel and Customers to ensure that Quality problems are addressed and technically resolved.
• Compile and maintain the As-Built Project Certification Dossier, ensuring all required documentation is complete, accurate, and submitted in accordance with project requirements
• Prepare Quality related lessons-learned through project Close-out Report.
• Prepare weekly MOM, Monthly reports (QMR), Project specific Inspection Assignment documents.
• Plan and arrange for Pre-Inspection Meeting along with the Manager Assurance, Quality Inspectors Expeditor, Package Manager, Supplier, and Client.

• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field of study
• 10+ years in a relevant field related to EPC
• Lead auditor certification and experienceProficient with computers and Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
