Cisco Collaboration Design Engineer -Junior (Government)

• Provides technical knowledge and skill in using Cisco specialized applications in the areas specified.
• Experienced in the operational environment and using high-level functional systems design, integration, documentation, and implementation methodologies on multiple projects.
• Applies principles, methods, and knowledge of the functional area of expertise to specific order requirements.
• Creates and provides solutions based on customer requests and site technical requirements.
• Has knowledge of security requirements for specialized information transfer applications and is skilled in preparing technical documentation and providing other services required by the order.
• Experience with Cisco Routers and Switches in a voice environment. Knowledge of Cisco’s Unified Communications Product line such as Unified Communications Manager, Unity Connection and collaboration applications, features, and services (e.g. Webex Meetings Server, Attendant Console, etc).

• 6 years of progressive IT/telecommunications experience in the last ten calendar years.
• Expertise with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio applications.
• Expertise with Cisco Commerce Workspace (CCW).
• Extensive knowledge of Cisco’s CUCM telephony product line - BEXX and UCS series servers.
• Extensive knowledge of Cisco’s router and switch product line - 83XX Edge Platforms LAN switches (92XX,93XX, etc).
• Cisco network operations experience.
