Computer-Aided Design Controller Development System (CoDeSys) SolidWorks (CAD) Scripting

Job description

  • Producing engineering drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
  • Creating work instructions and electrical schematics
  • Supporting new product development, testing and validation
  • Working on continuous improvement of existing products
  • Engineering administration, including part number creation and BOM management
  • Providing application and technical support
  • Researching, developing and testing control systems
  • Creating technical documentation, manuals and guides, Please get in Contact Carl for this is a great opportunity as an engineer looking to develop their skills across design, controls and product development within a growing engineering environment.

Requirements

  • Engineering or Product Design qualification preferred but not essential
  • CAD experience, ideally SolidWorks
  • Experience with electrical and/or diesel control systems
  • PLC, CODESYS or scripting experience would be advantageous
  • 1+ years’ experience within a design/engineering environment
  • Experience with rotating machinery, steel fabrication or control systems would be beneficial
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines
  • Self-motivated, inquisitive and keen to learn
