Consultant, Finance, SAP Public Cloud, Technology and Transformation

You’ll lead the Finance (FI/CO) workstream on S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition engagements. That means running Fit-to-Standard workshops with client finance leads, holding the design decisions that come out of them, and taking responsibility for configuration quality, testing and cutover readiness through to go-live.

You’ll also direct the work of consultants and analysts on your workstream, and contribute to bids and to the accelerators the CoE reuses across clients. Both are genuine parts of the role rather than something to pick up in spare time.

• Demonstrable experience leading Finance (FI/CO) workstreams through full lifecycle SAP implementations.
• Working knowledge of S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition and a Fit-to-Standard delivery approach.
• Confidence running workshops with senior client finance stakeholders and managing scope conversations directly.
• Experience guiding and reviewing the work of consultants and analysts.

Desirables:

• UK public sector delivery experience across local government, policing, health or housing.
• SAP certification in S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition Finance.
• Exposure to bid and proposal work.

Our SAP Public Cloud Centre of Excellence in Manchester sits at the heart of some of the most complex, high-profile SAP Public Cloud programmes in the UK market, from greenfield public sector transformations to large-scale recovery engagements. We’re growing fast, which means this is a rare chance to help shape a practice from the ground up rather than join one that’s already fully formed. This is a role with real ownership in it: you’d be leading the Finance workstream on live engagements and setting how we deliver Finance across the practice, not inheriting a method that’s already fixed.
