Job description

Experienced engineer with manufacturing experience who can provide technical direction and design a new system from the ground up. The ideal candidate will be able to evaluate requirements, develop the architecture, determine the appropriate technologies and systems, and lead the implementation through completion., * Design and develop a new system from scratch, including architecture, infrastructure, workflows, and supporting technology.

Define the appropriate processes, tools, and technologies to create a scalable, reliable, and efficient system.
Troubleshoot complex technical issues and identify root causes.
Drive automation, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
Develop monitoring, management, and self-repair solutions.
Establish best practices for documentation, testing, security, and operational support.
Work across engineering, software, infrastructure, and manufacturing systems to create an integrated solution.
Provide technical leadership and direction to the new organization.

Requirements

Significant experience designing and implementing complex systems from the ground up.
Strong systems engineering, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with Linux/UNIX environments, servers, networks, and infrastructure.
Strong automation skills using Python, Perl, shell scripting, or similar.
Solid understanding of networking protocols and infrastructure.
Experience with SQL and database systems.
Strong understanding of security, access controls, testing, and system reliability.
Demonstrated ability to take a complex problem from concept through implementation.

Highly Desired

Experience with PLM systems, Teamcenter, Tulip, Ignition SCADA, or similar manufacturing/industrial platforms.
Experience integrating PLM, MES, SCADA, automation, and enterprise systems.
Knowledge of C, C++, or Java.
Git or other version-control systems.
AWS or other cloud technologies.
Experience supporting large-scale or geographically distributed environments.
Enterprise networking and storage experience.
