Job description

Job Duties: Contribute to both the Electrical and Platform-level validation of server platforms. Work with cross-functional teams to aid in developing as well as executing test plans which will verify product functionality, adherence to electrical specifications, and production requirements. Execute software stack and use case testing. Perform debugging, identify root cause, and resolve issues as they occur. Interface with architecture, design, platform, firmware, and system engineering process. Conduct test specifications, requirements, strategies, and methodologies. Track and summarize test results and collaborate in automation efforts for validation.

Requirements

Requirements: Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Employer with alternatively accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and two (2) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or closely related engineering role.

Position requires experience in the following:

  • Hardware and software verification;

  • Product development lifecycles;

  • Unix and Linux environments;

  • Scripting using Python, Bash, and Powershell;

  • GPU, SoC, or CPU architecture;

  • Linux and Windows internals;

  • Server systems;

  • Software debugging (macOS, Linux, or Unix); and

  • Git.

Experience may be gained through university-level coursework, research, internship, or work experience.
