Job description

  • Provide comprehensive administration and support for multi-platform operating system environments.
  • Manage and maintain virtualized environments and enterprise-level virtualization management tools.
  • Configure and maintain host-based security and intrusion detection systems.
  • Configure and maintain enterprise storage solutions and associated file system architectures.
  • Develop and deliver technical documentation and program briefings to senior management and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and 10+ years of relevant Systems Administration experience; or an Associate’s degree with 15+ years’ experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in systems administration of software and hardware supporting IT system development and testing.
  • Experience in a Linux environment.
  • 2+ years of experience in Splunk administration.
  • Experience utilizing Ansible or comparable infrastructure-as-code tools.
  • Proficiency with Scripting languages including Python, Bash, or Perl.
  • Familiarity with enterprise virtualization platforms (VMware or similar) and associated Storage Area Networks (SAN).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with DevOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, SaltStack, or Puppet.
  • Experience with NiFi or cross-domain solutions.
  • Knowledge of network devices (routers, switches, gateways) and protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, DHCP, and DNS.

Clearance Requirement:

  • Current/Active TS/SCI with Polygraph

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time.
  • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as, the copy machine/fax machine/computer/printer.
