QA Automation Engineer

We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer with experience in both manual and automated software testing to join our development team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Selenium and Playwright, a strong understanding of software quality assurance processes, and the ability to build and maintain automated test frameworks while also performing exploratory and manual testing when required.

This is an on-site position where you will collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product managers to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products., * Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and Selenium.

• Perform comprehensive manual testing for new features, enhancements, and bug fixes.
• Create and execute functional, regression, integration, smoke, and end-to-end test cases and performance testing.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily standups, and sprint reviews.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using issue tracking tools.
• Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and verify bug fixes.
• Review requirements and technical specifications to develop effective test strategies.
• Improve and maintain automation frameworks and testing standards.
• Execute cross-browser and cross-platform testing.
• Validate APIs using tools such as Swagger or similar.
• Participate in release validation and production verification.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve QA processes and automation coverage.

What You’ll Do

• Develop automated test suites that reduce manual testing effort.
• Ensure software quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Work closely with developers to identify and resolve defects early.
• Help improve testing processes and automation coverage.
• Deliver reliable, high-quality software releases.

• 4-5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
• Minimum 2+ years of automation testing experience.
• Strong experience with:
• Playwright
• Selenium WebDriver
• Experience performing both Manual Testing and Automation Testing.
• Experience writing automated UI and end-to-end tests.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum software development methodologies.
• Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing lifecycle (STLC).
• Experience with API testing.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, or C#.
• Experience testing REST APIs.
• Experience with Git version control.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• Experience testing enterprise web applications.
• Knowledge of SQL and database validation.
• Experience with performance or load testing is a plus.
