Job description
We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer with experience in both manual and automated software testing to join our development team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Selenium and Playwright, a strong understanding of software quality assurance processes, and the ability to build and maintain automated test frameworks while also performing exploratory and manual testing when required.
This is an on-site position where you will collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product managers to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products., * Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and Selenium.
- Perform comprehensive manual testing for new features, enhancements, and bug fixes.
- Create and execute functional, regression, integration, smoke, and end-to-end test cases and performance testing.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily standups, and sprint reviews.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using issue tracking tools.
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and verify bug fixes.
- Review requirements and technical specifications to develop effective test strategies.
- Improve and maintain automation frameworks and testing standards.
- Execute cross-browser and cross-platform testing.
- Validate APIs using tools such as Swagger or similar.
- Participate in release validation and production verification.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve QA processes and automation coverage.

What You’ll Do
- Develop automated test suites that reduce manual testing effort.
- Ensure software quality throughout the development lifecycle.
- Work closely with developers to identify and resolve defects early.
- Help improve testing processes and automation coverage.
- Deliver reliable, high-quality software releases.
Requirements
- 4-5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
- Minimum 2+ years of automation testing experience.
- Strong experience with:
- Playwright
- Selenium WebDriver
- Experience performing both Manual Testing and Automation Testing.
- Experience writing automated UI and end-to-end tests.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum software development methodologies.
- Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing lifecycle (STLC).
- Experience with API testing.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, or C#.
- Experience testing REST APIs.
- Experience with Git version control.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
- Experience testing enterprise web applications.
- Knowledge of SQL and database validation.
- Experience with performance or load testing is a plus.
