Job description
This position is for a Senior .Net Developer based in Mechanicsburg, PA. The individual will be responsible for defining technical architectures for various applications, evaluating and choosing appropriate technologies, designing cloud-native strategies on Microsoft Azure, and providing technical guidance to the engineering team., * Define technical architectures for web, desktop, and cloud applications using modern microservices and monolithic patterns.
- Evaluate and choose appropriate .NET, JAVA, tools, programming frameworks, databases, and third-party libraries.
- Design cloud-native strategies on Microsoft Azure, covering SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS solutions.
- Code rules, security protocols, and DevOps guidelines for the engineering team.
- Provide technical guidance, perform code reviews, and mentor senior developers.
- Translate business requirements into clear technical designs for non-technical leadership and build scalable enterprise software solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 8+ years in software development, with at least 3 years in an architectural or lead capacity.
Preferred Skills:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
- Experience with .NET, DevOps, IaaS, Java, Microsoft Azure, PaaS, SaaS, and Microservices.
This role bridges the gap between business problems and technology solutions by defining technical vision, selecting frameworks, and leading development teams. Expected deliverables include web pages, services, and database components.
