Job description

  • Perform end-to-end administration of Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019, and 2022 environments.
  • Execute OS patching cycles, lifecycle upgrades, performance tuning, and advanced troubleshooting of OS-level issues.
  • Implement baseline security controls, hardening standards, and compliance requirements across server infrastructure.
  • Diagnose and resolve server performance, services, event log, storage, and system-level operational issues.
  • Support high-availability production systems with minimal downtime during maintenance activities.
  1. VMware Administration:
  • Administer and maintain VMware ESXi hosts and vCenter Server across distributed enterprise environments.
  • Perform VM provisioning, cloning, snapshots, migrations, host builds, and baseline configuration management.
  • Manage Site Recovery Manager (SRM) operations and DR readiness activities.
  • Configure and optimize HA, DRS, cluster balancing, and resource utilization.
  • Conduct proactive performance monitoring, capacity planning, and virtualization health checks.
  1. SCCM Administration:
  • Manage SCCM infrastructure including site servers, distribution points, collections, and client health monitoring.
  • Execute patch deployment, software distribution, and compliance reporting across enterprise systems.
  • Troubleshoot SCCM client communication, deployment failures, and software update issues.
  • Develop operational reports for patch compliance and software inventory governance.
  1. HPE Hardware Administration:
  • Administer HPE ProLiant servers, BladeSystem infrastructure, and associated enterprise hardware platforms.
  • Utilize HPE iLO for remote server access, diagnostics, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Manage firmware, BIOS, and driver upgrades aligned with approved maintenance standards.
  • Coordinate with OEM/vendor teams for hardware incidents, replacements, and preventive maintenance.
  1. Leadership & Operational Ownership:
  • Proven experience leading and mentoring a team of 7 engineers or more in a 24x7 onsite operations model.
  • Manage rotational shifts, ensure shift coverage, handovers, and operational continuity across all support windows.
  • Lead critical production incidents, drive technical bridge calls, and coordinate cross-functional resolution activities.
  • Own workload distribution, escalation handling, SLA adherence, and service quality improvement.
  • Coach team members, review technical outputs, and strengthen documentation and knowledge maturity.
  • Act as an operational anchor for leadership communication and major issue management.

Requirements

We are seeking a highly experienced senior infrastructure professional with deep expertise in Windows Server Administration, VMware Virtualization, SCCM, and HPE Hardware Operations to support and lead mission-critical enterprise infrastructure in a 24x7 onsite production environment. The role requires strong technical depth, operational leadership, and the ability to lead a team of engineers supporting high-availability enterprise systems., * Minimum 11+ years of hands-on enterprise experience across Windows, VMware, SCCM, and HPE infrastructure domains.

  • Minimum 3 5 years of leadership experience managing enterprise support teams.
  • Strong troubleshooting capability across OS, virtualization, hardware, storage, and infrastructure layers.
  • Proven experience supporting 24x7 production operations in high-availability environments.
  • Strong working knowledge of Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management (ITIL aligned).
  • Experience creating and maintaining SOPs, runbooks, KB articles, and operational documentation.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Administrator Associate
  • VMware Certified Professional (VCP)

  • Platforms: Windows Server (2012 2022), VMware vSphere (7.x / 8.x)
  • Hardware: Hewlett Packard Enterprise ProLiant, iLO, OneView
  • Management Tools: Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, ServiceNow, AppViewX
