Associate Program Manager - Data & GIS Governance

Seeking an experienced Data & GIS Governance Program Manager to lead enterprise data governance, GIS governance, and Master Data Management initiatives for VDOT. The role focuses on data quality, lifecycle management, metadata, stewardship, and geospatial governance., Lead enterprise data governance and MDM initiatives. Manage data lifecycle, quality, metadata, data dictionaries, and classification. Drive resolution of data quality and remediation issues. Provide governance and strategic direction for ArcGIS/GIS platforms. Develop data standards, documentation, training, and governance processes. Coordinate cross-functional teams and communicate with technical and executive stakeholders. Support adoption of modern data tools and technologies.

Strong experience leading enterprise data programs in large organizations. Expertise in Data Governance, MDM, Data Quality, Metadata, and Data Lifecycle Management. Strong GIS/ArcGIS knowledge. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. Public-sector/VDOT experience is a plus.
