Job description

We are hiring a Senior Technical Program Manager to drive distribution, growth, and subscriptions across some of the most exciting surfaces in tech - automotive, ticketing, hearables, wearables, virtual reality, mobile, and emerging conversational experiences. In this role, you will own the end-to-end health and reliability of 100+ partner integrations, serve as the technical program manager for critical partner initiatives (OEM onboarding, API integrations, feature enablement), and build the support operations that keep our partners running at scale. You’ll operate cross-functionally across 5+ engineering teams, drive resolution without direct authority, and pilot AI-powered tooling to continuously improve how we serve partners., TECHNICAL PROGRAM MANAGEMENT - PARTNER INTEGRATION INITIATIVES

  • Serve as TPM for OEM onboarding, API integrations, feature enablement, and end-to-end partner integrations; manage critical cross-team initiatives from scoping through delivery
  • Drive business requirements, technical designs, and program plans; run gate reviews and dependency tracking across engineering organizations
  • Represent the Growth and Partnerships team in cross-functional planning with internal engineering and external partner teams

PARTNER INTEGRATION HEALTH & CROSS-TEAM RESOLUTION

  • Own reliability of 100+ partner integrations across automotive, CTV, wearables, telecom, gaming, and voice; maintain a live health dashboard with SLA tracking and publish monthly reports to leadership
  • Triage and route partner-reported issues to owning engineering teams; drive P0/P1s to closure across 5+ teams without direct authority
  • Own the consolidated partner defect backlog as single source of truth; prioritize by device reach, revenue impact, partner status, and SLA age
  • Run weekly review cadences with engineering leads; surface systemic root causes to reduce inbound volume

SUPPORT ENGINEERING OPERATIONS

  • Manage offshore Support Engineers (L1/L2 triage); define runbooks, escalation paths, and quality standards
  • Build and operate the support mechanism: intake * triage * route * track * resolve * post-mortem
  • Pilot AI and agentic tooling to automate ticket routing and assignment

A day in the life You start the morning triaging overnight partner escalations and deciding what needs engineering attention before standup. By mid-morning you’re in a gate review for a new OEM integration, flagging untracked dependencies and assigning owners. After lunch you’re running a cross-team defect review, holding five engineering leads to resolution timelines on the highest-impact issues. Between meetings you’re updating runbooks so your offshore support team handles the next one without you.

You bring program rigor to ambiguous problems, drive resolution across teams you don’t own, and build mechanisms that prevent repeat failures.

About the team The Amazon Music Growth & Partnerships team is how hundreds of millions of customers discover Amazon Music through the cars they drive, the TVs they watch, the wearables on their wrists, and the assistants they talk to every day. We own the APIs, infrastructure, developer tools, and integration frameworks that power 100+ active partner surfaces across automotive OEMs, big screen, wearables, hearables, voice assistants, ticketing, and emerging conversational experiences.

We sit at the intersection of product, engineering, and business development. When we get the partner integration experience right, every new launch makes the next one faster, higher quality, and closer to zero-touch. The result: Amazon Music reaches customers wherever they are, on whatever device they choose - and they never have to think twice about it.
