Job description

We are seeking an innovative and detail-oriented AI Engineer to support the development and implementation of artificial intelligence solutions that enhance operational efficiency, business intelligence, and resident experience within the property management industry. This role will work closely with corporate departments including operations, HR, accounting, marketing, maintenance support, and IT to identify opportunities for automation, predictive analytics, and AI-driven process improvements across the organization’s portfolio.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy AI and machine learning solutions to support corporate and property management operations.
  • Analyze operational, financial, resident, and maintenance data to identify trends and improve business performance.
  • Develop AI-driven tools and automations that streamline workflows, reporting, customer service, and internal processes.
  • Collaborate with corporate leadership and department teams to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements through AI technology.
  • Integrate AI applications into existing property management software systems and business platforms.
  • Assist with predictive analytics initiatives related to occupancy, resident retention, maintenance trends, budgeting, and staffing.
  • Monitor and optimize AI systems to ensure reliability, accuracy, compliance, and data security.
  • Research emerging AI technologies and recommend innovative solutions applicable to the property management industry.
  • Create technical documentation, training materials, and process guides for internal users.
  • Support data governance and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable privacy regulations.

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while performing administrative duties.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in person, by phone, and in writing.
  • Ability to work in an office setting.
  • Minimal travel is required, limited to training sites within the Metro Detroit area (e.g., Warren, Troy)., * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience developing and deploying AI or machine learning solutions in a business environment.
  • Familiarity with business operations, reporting systems, and workflow automation tools.
  • Experience working with large datasets and integrating systems across multiple platforms.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based technologies, databases, APIs, and AI development frameworks.
  • Understanding of predictive analytics, natural language processing, automation tools, or generative AI concepts preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced corporate environment.
