Job description

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to support and optimize infrastructure operations for a complex technical environment in Albany, New York. This role focuses on building reliable deployment processes, maintaining secure and scalable platforms, and improving system performance across on-premises and cloud-based resources. The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on experience with containerization, orchestration, automation, and modern CI/CD practices.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure engineering, or a closely related technical role.
Strong proficiency with Docker or Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipeline design and support.
Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools for configuration management and infrastructure automation.
Solid understanding of security principles, system hardening, and operational best practices.
Linux system administration experience is preferred.
