Job description
ISPA Technology is seeking a System Administrator to join us here in Panama City, FL! This will be responsible for system administration, patch development, automation, vulnerability remediation, and cybersecurity compliance. The ideal candidate has experience with Windows Server, RHEL 8/9, VMware, and scripting/automation in a DoD or tactical Command and Control (C2) environment., * Administer, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows Server, RHEL 8/9, VMware virtual machines, and supporting infrastructure.
- Develop, package, test, and deploy operating system and application patches, security updates, and IAVA remediations.
- Develop automation using Python, PowerShell, Bash, and Ansible for patching, configuration management, deployment, and remediation.
- Test patches and configuration changes in lab/staging environments to ensure compatibility, stability, security, and minimal operational downtime.
- Support vulnerability scanning, system hardening, and remediation using ACAS/Nessus, SCAP, STIG Viewer, and DoD STIGs.
- Support patch distribution and software deployment using tools such as Red Hat Satellite and SCCM/MECM.
- Maintain technical documentation, including build procedures, release notes, rollout/rollback plans, and SOPs.
- Support virtualized, containerized, and tactical hardware environments as required.
Requirements
- System administration experience with Windows Server, VMware, and Linux, including RHEL 8/9.
- Proficiency with Python, PowerShell, Ansible, and/or Bash for automation and software deployment.
- Experience with patch management, system troubleshooting, software deployment, and configuration management.
- Experience supporting virtualized server environments., * Experience supporting tactical Command and Control (C2) systems or other DoD operational environments.
- Experience with ACAS/Nessus, SCAP, STIG Viewer, IAVA tracking, and STIG implementation.
- Experience with Red Hat Satellite, SCCM/MECM, VMware ESXi, containerized environments, or tactical hardware.
- Familiarity with RMF, system hardening, vulnerability remediation, and DoD cybersecurity requirements.
- Experience supporting Navy, Air Force, Joint, or other DoD operational networks.
