Job description
- Lead data integration efforts related to a major acquisition, impacting numerous employees, countries, and locations.
- Develop a comprehensive integration strategy for data originating from 22+ ERP systems.
- Design and oversee the movement of data from acquired company platforms into the enterprise architecture.
- Establish and implement data governance, mapping, cleansing, and migration approaches.
- Coordinate with divisional IT teams, business stakeholders, and data owners across the organization.
- Create data flow architecture and integration patterns leveraging modern cloud data platforms.
- Drive synergy initiatives by making acquired company data available across enterprise systems.
- Assess opportunities to leverage best-in-class technologies from either organization.
- Guide cybersecurity considerations related to enterprise integration activities.
- Serve as the technical lead and advisor for data migration and integration workstreams.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, or Enterprise Integration leadership roles.
- Extensive experience leading large-scale enterprise data migrations.
- Experience integrating data across multiple ERP platforms (such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, Infor).
- Proven success supporting mergers, acquisitions, or enterprise integration programs.
- Strong understanding of data governance, master data management, and enterprise data strategy.
- Experience coordinating with global stakeholders and distributed teams.
- Ability to provide both technical leadership and hands-on architecture guidance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Manufacturing integration experience.
- Experience with Databricks.
- Experience with Enterprise Data Warehousing and Cloud Data Platforms (Azure preferred).
- Knowledge of ETL/ELT Architecture and Data Lake Architecture.
- Familiarity with API and Systems Integration.
- Experience with Data Quality and Governance Frameworks.
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to rapidly assess disparate systems and create integration roadmaps.
