Job description

  • Assisting in the development of custom software packages, full stack applications/tools, and user interfaces for a variety of DoD customers
  • Develop web applications in ReactJS
  • Write extensible React components
  • Take ownership of feature design, development, and testing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams of designers and developers to define, design, and ship new features
  • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
  • Participate in code reviews, providing good feedback on code you review, as well as being receptive to feedback on your code
  • Working with and integrating the latest open-source software tools & algorithms to solve novel and challenging problems

Requirements

MORSE Corp is seeking Front End Software Engineer Co-ops to develop software applications and user interfaces to enable the warfighter to plan and execute missions, assess data, and evaluate AI/ML capabilities. Candidate should be a highly motivated self-starter with good communication skills and should be able to work in an iterative and agile development style. If you are passionate about building software for human users, solving user pain, and making impact this is a great fit!, * ship required and ability to obtain a US Security Clearance.

  • Working towards a BS or BA degree in Computer Science, Engineering. or related subject
  • Working knowledge of the general software application development architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
  • Experience with ReactJS
  • Experience with Python is nice to have
  • Solid understanding of version control systems (we use Git)
  • Good communication skills and the ability to have fun when working

MORSE Corp’s pay range for this role carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to, prior experience, education, skills and expertise, location, internal equity, and other factors that are job related and consistent with business need. Therefore, final offer amounts may vary from the amount stated.
