IT Product Owner - AI & Healthcare Regulatory Compliance

We are seeking a skilled IT Product Owner with deep knowledge of AI technologies, AI agents, data analytics, and healthcare regulatory compliance. This role requires a strategic thinker who can envision and articulate the future of AI applications in regulatory compliance within large healthcare organizations. The ideal candidate will serve as the critical link between technical teams, business stakeholders, and compliance requirements while driving innovation in AI-powered solutions., Product Management

• Define and prioritize product features, user stories, and requirements for AI-focused products that address healthcare regulatory compliance challenges

• Create and maintain product roadmaps aligned with business objectives and compliance needs

• Manage the product backlog and ensure clear communication of requirements to development teams

• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, including GDPR, HIPAA, and FDA regulatory discussions

• Translate complex technical concepts into actionable business requirements

Technology Leadership

• Lead the development of AI agents and data analytics solutions that address regulatory compliance challenges

• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and assess their applicability to healthcare compliance scenarios

• Ensure products meet technical standards while delivering value to end users

• Oversee the integration of data analytics capabilities into compliance workflows

Strategic Planning

• Develop forward-looking strategies for AI adoption in regulatory compliance contexts

• Create proof-of-concept demonstrations showcasing potential AI applications in compliance

• Anticipate future regulatory challenges and proactively develop solutions

• Build business cases for AI investments that address current and future compliance needs

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Work with legal, compliance, and healthcare subject matter experts to ensure solutions meet regulatory requirements

• Collaborate with UX designers, data scientists, and development teams to deliver high-quality products

• Present vision and progress to senior leadership and other key stakeholders

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred)

• 5+ years as a Product Owner or similar role in IT

• 3+ years of demonstrated experience working with AI technologies and AI agents

• Experience with data analytics platforms and methodologies

• Knowledge of healthcare regulatory compliance frameworks (HIPAA, FDA, GDPR, etc.)

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of AI technologies, machine learning, and AI agents

• Experience with data analytics tools and platforms

• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc.)

• Ability to understand and discuss technical concepts with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Strategic & Business Skills

• Demonstrated strategic thinking with ability to anticipate industry trends

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to articulate complex concepts clearly

• Experience with product lifecycle management from conception to deployment

• Proven ability to balance technical feasibility with business value and compliance requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Product Owner certification (CSPO, PSPO, or similar)

• Experience in the healthcare industry or regulated environments

• Track record of implementing AI solutions in regulated environments

• Experience with change management and organizational transformation
