Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of interaction design experience in product design or UX design.
  • Experience building interactive prototypes, working demos, and future concepts.
  • Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions)., * Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience leveraging AI to innovate and drive cross-functional collaboration and cohesion.
  • Experience designing for accessibility and across various form factors.
  • Ability to lead and ideate products from scratch using a user-centered design process.

As an Interaction Designer, you’ll apply user-centered design methods to craft industry-leading user experiences from concept to execution, working with design partners to evolve the Google design language to build beautiful, innovative products.

In this role, you will build infrastructure providing help and support solutions for approximately 400 Google products, including Ads, YouTube, Play, Pay, and Pixel. Your primary focus is enabling customers to self-serve and resolve issues leveraging the best of AI, machine learning, and agentic technologies, while seamlessly looping in human assistance when required. You will redefine advertiser support by building an “Agentic-First” future and will be creating a dynamic, proactive ecosystem powered by transformative AI. You will deliver intelligent, proactive AI experiences that automatically troubleshoot problems and optimize campaigns. You will drive the evolution of a groundbreaking support experience that delivers a personalized, intelligent, and proactive ecosystem for every advertiser. By fostering a self-improving system, you will ensure that every single interaction yields high-value training data, continuously elevating the agent’s intelligence, capabilities, and effectiveness over time. Google Ads is helping power the open internet with the best technology that connects and creates value for people, publishers, advertisers, and Google. We’re made up of multiple teams, building Google’s Advertising products including search, display, shopping, travel and video advertising, as well as analytics. Our teams create trusted experiences between people and businesses with useful ads. We help grow businesses of all sizes from small businesses, to large brands, to YouTube creators, with effective advertiser tools that deliver measurable results. We also enable Google to engage with customers at scale. Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $132000 - $189000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
