Job description

We are seeking a versatile software engineer to build and maintain software that supports both our engineering organization and our products. This role spans test infrastructure, automation, data collection and visualization, internal tooling, backend services, and occasional customer-facing applications. The ideal candidate enjoys solving practical problems across a wide range of technologies and is comfortable working closely with hardware, test engineers, and product teams., * Design, build, and maintain software for engineering test infrastructure and lab automation.

  • Develop applications that execute GPU workloads, collect telemetry, and analyze test results.
  • Build internal tools, dashboards, and visualization applications to improve engineering productivity.
  • Develop backend services and APIs to support internal and external applications.
  • Contribute to customer-facing software and product features as business needs evolve.
  • Integrate software with hardware, laboratory equipment, and external systems.
  • Improve automation, reliability, and maintainability of engineering workflows.
  • Collaborate with thermal, electrical, mechanical, and software engineers to develop solutions for new testing and product requirements.
  • Troubleshoot issues across the software stack and continuously improve existing systems.
  • Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code and documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong programming skills in Python or another modern programming language.
  • Familiarity with software development on Linux.
  • Experience with Git.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Curiosity, initiative, and willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with C++, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Go.
  • Experience building personal projects, research software, internships, or open-source contributions.
  • Familiarity with web development, data visualization, or backend services.
  • Experience working with GPUs and GPU programming frameworks.
