What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing, coding, testing, and maintaining complex applications with minimal supervision
- Writing clean, high-quality code and participating in peer code reviews in a PCI Compliant environment
- Contributing to large-scale projects involving multiple developers, teams, and systems
- Working within Azure DevOps using Agile principles and open communication
- Keeping business-critical systems highly performant, stable, and available
- Staying ahead of industry trends and embracing new tools - including AI-powered development tools, * You’ll work closely with business partners and IT teams to deliver reliable technology solutions
Requirements
- 3-7 years of IT experience, with 3+ years in software development
- Proficiency in at least one OOP language - C#, VB .Net, X++, or Java
- Working knowledge of shell scripting (PowerShell or Bash)
- Experience with code repositories such as Git, GitHub, or Azure DevOps
- Strong communication skills - you can translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
- A tenacious, problem-solving mindset and the ability to work independently
Nice-to-Haves:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, or equivalent experience
- Experience with MS Dynamics AX (4.0, 2009, 2012, or 365) - bonus points if you’ve been part of a 365 migration!
- Front-end forms development experience
- Comfort working with X++ programming and Dynamics integrations, * Takes ownership of your work and its results
- Communicates openly and often - with your team and business partners
- Collaborates naturally but can also run independently
- Thinks innovatively and isn’t afraid to suggest a better way
