Requirements
This position is responsible for analysis of efficiency opportunities and automation of processes in Security Operations. The candidate should be able to review operational processes and determine areas where automation can assist and to develop proof of concepts. Any work performed should be backed by metrics and efficiency gains should be tracked. Candidate will be working with stakeholders involved with detection of phishing, brand abuse, cyber threats, etc. and is expected to have knowledge of these areas.
The candidate must understand automation capabilities such as leveraging API’s and device emulation. Python is the primary language used. The candidate should be able to meet with stakeholders and determine requirements. On call responsibilities are needed to support applications off hours in case of failures., * Bachelors degree in Computer Science or 2-3 years of software development experience.
- 4-5 years of data analysis experience leveraging SQL
- Understanding of joins, indexes, query optimization and relational table design
- 4-5 years of scripting experience in Python
- Experience with Flask, creating libraries, Python packaging and CICD
- 3-4 years of experience in the Cybersecurity industry
- Understanding of DNS, Proxies, Whois, SSL
