Job description

We are looking for a Backend Developer to join our engineering team and help build a secure, scalable, and high-performing health services platform. In this role, you will develop backend services, APIs, and system integrations that power our applications and deliver reliable experiences for healthcare providers and users.

You will collaborate closely with frontend developers, QA engineers, product managers, and architects to design and implement high-quality software solutions., * Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js, Java, or .NET.

  • Build scalable and maintainable server-side applications.
  • Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers to deliver seamless application functionality.
  • Optimize application performance, reliability, and security.
  • Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code following best practices.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving engineering standards.
  • Work in an Agile environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of commercial backend development experience.
  • Strong experience with Node.js, Java, or .NET.
  • Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
  • Good understanding of relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
  • Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
  • Understanding of software design principles and object-oriented programming.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good English communication skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with GraphQL.
  • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases.
  • Experience working in healthcare, SaaS, or other regulated industries.
