Job description

As Manager, Digital Operations, Data & Innovation, you will help enable the success of the Licensed Coffeehouse business across the U.S. and Canada through leadership of digital operations, business systems, data management, and technology initiatives. You will partner closely with Licensed Coffeehouse, Supply Chain, technology teams, and external partners to deliver operational excellence, support product commercialization, and identify innovative solutions that improve efficiency, scalability, and the licensee experience.

As a Manager, Digital Operations, Data & Innovation, you will:

  • Lead digital operations and business systems support - Serve as the primary business lead for Licensed Coffeehouse technology capabilities, driving system enhancements, operational support, issue resolution, and continuous improvement across critical business platforms.
  • Enable successful business execution and commercialization - Partner with Supply Chain, Commercialization, Merchandising, Planning, and Distribution teams to support product launches, promotional programs, operational readiness, and licensee success across the U.S. and Canada.
  • Drive innovation through data and technology - Leverage analytics, automation, AI-enabled capabilities, and emerging technologies to improve operational effectiveness, strengthen business insights, and create scalable solutions for the Licensed Coffeehouse business.
  • Build strong cross-functional partnerships - Collaborate with business leaders, enterprise technology teams, licensees, and vendors to translate business needs into effective solutions and deliver impactful business outcomes.
  • Develop and lead a high-performing team - Establish priorities, coach and develop partners, foster innovation and accountability, and create an environment where individuals and teams can thrive.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in digital operations, data management, business systems, analytics, or technology operations.
  • 5+ years of experience leading cross-functional projects, programs, or business initiatives.
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain, operations, business systems, or related fields.
  • Experience leading process improvement, automation, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Experience translating business requirements into technology solutions.
  • Experience managing system implementations, enhancements, or operational support functions.
  • Experience onboarding and supporting EDI transactions, including invoicing and incentive programs.
  • 3+ years of people leadership and team development experience.

  • If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
