Job description
The Data Operations Analyst is responsible for interfacing with various departments, including Account Service, Channel Activation, Product, Operations, and Creative/Production, to develop and manage all data deliverables necessary to execute client campaigns. This role ensures data accuracy, manages account databases, creates and maintains documents, and oversees the routing of information across the agency. This role also involves translating client and agency needs into clear directives for software development. The Data Operations Analyst is a proactive problem solver with strong communication skills, thriving in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, and contributing significantly to client-facing deliverables., Key Outcome: Ensure Accurate and Timely Data Management, * Maintain and manage account databases, ensuring the accuracy and availability of data for various stakeholders.
- Develop and distribute documents and templates to facilitate media buying, creative ordering, traffic, billing, and campaign pacing.
- Manage document versioning and maintain a history of updates for agency working documents.
- Identify risks and dependencies across deliverables to anticipate and mitigate potential issues., * Work with stakeholder groups to define project scopes, reporting metrics, and data sources, providing solutions and recommendations.
- Serve as the subject matter expert on marketing programs, agency software, reporting tools, and workflow processes.
- Develop formal processes and maintain accurate documentation, championing continuous improvement efforts. Partner with cross-functional teams, gathering requirements and enhancing workflows through automation.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met in a fast-paced environment.
Key Outcome: Facilitate Cross-Departmental Communication and Collaboration, * Act as a liaison between centralized and decentralized groups, promoting the use of data across departments.
- Collaborate with Product team to translate client and agency needs into clear, actionable directions for software and website development.
- Demonstrate subject matter expertise of the internal data ecosystem to effectively transform and repurpose data for various agency functions, including media buying, creative ordering, billing, and reporting.
Requirements
o Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. o 2+ years of experience managing large projects with a focus on data management. o Extensive use of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and Power Pivot. o Experience with project management software, such as Wrike. o Intermediate project management skills, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment. o Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present to clients and internal stakeholders.

Pulled from the full job description Paid parental leave Parental leave Paid time off Employee stock ownership plan, Butler/Till is committed to providing pay transparency of our compensation philosophy and ensuring equitable pay practices for our employee owners. The compensation range for this position is $47,000- $74,000 and represents the annual salary range in Rochester, NY. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience.
This is just one component of Butler/Till’s total compensation package for employee owners. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including ESOP (employee stock ownership plan), an annual bonus, in addition to a full benefits package, and paid time off benefits, including 100% paid parental leave. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
