Under general direction, the Enterprise IT Business Program Support - Lead provides leadership and oversight in enterprise-wide IT functions such as asset management, procurement, contract administration, cost modeling, and portfolio planning. This role is responsible for guiding staff and managing workflows in one or more statewide IT business program areas. This classification serves as the senior-level subject matter expert in its domain and plays a key role in strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and quality assurance. It is distinguished from the intermediate and advanced level by its leadership role, team oversight responsibilities, and broader influence on program execution and direction. This class differs from the Enterprise IT Business Program Support - Advanced in that an incumbent of the latter performs advanced level duties in a specific enterprise-wide IT business program support area., * Staff Leadership & Coordination - Leads teams in supporting agency IT needs, project timelines, equipment requests, and procurement policy updates.
- Contract Administration Oversight - Oversees the IT solicitation process, ensuring completeness and compliance; coordinates vendor selection and contract execution.
- Procurement & Technology Planning - Directs enterprise-level technology purchasing; validates RFPs, conducts solution assessments, and supports business cases.
- Budget Oversight & Financial Reporting - Manages cost tracking, expenditure reporting, and budget planning across enterprise IT initiatives.
- Asset Lifecycle Management - Supervises IT asset flow and inventory, staging, sanitation, retention, and disposition in line with enterprise requirements.
- Project Leadership & Quality Control - Ensures teams have tools and direction needed for quality service delivery; reviews work products for accuracy and alignment with enterprise standards.

Requirements
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree and three years of relevant professional experience in IT procurement, budgeting, records management, risk management, or contract administration.
Substitution of Experience for Education: Relevant experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis up to four years.
