Job description

We’re partnering with an innovative SaaS company that’s building modern, data-driven products used by enterprise customers across multiple industries. They’re looking for a Front End Engineer to help develop intuitive, high-performance web applications using React and TypeScript while collaborating closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams.

This is an opportunity to own features from concept through production, work on both established and greenfield products, and leverage modern AI-assisted development tools in a collaborative engineering environment. Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable React and TypeScript applications
  • Own features end-to-end from discovery and implementation through deployment and iteration
  • Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate REST APIs and ensure reliable data flow
  • Build responsive, accessible, and high-performing user interfaces
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code using unit, integration, and end-to-end testing
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
  • Partner with Product and Design teams to prototype and enhance user experiences
  • Help improve shared component libraries and design systems
  • Utilize AI coding assistants to accelerate development while maintaining high code quality

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional Front End Engineering experience
  • 3+ years of production experience with React and TypeScript
  • Strong JavaScript (ES6+) fundamentals
  • Experience with modern build tools (Vite, Webpack, or similar)
  • Experience with state management (Redux, Context API, or similar)
  • Experience integrating REST and/or GraphQL APIs
  • Experience writing automated tests (Jest, Vitest, Playwright, Cypress, or similar)
  • Familiarity with Git, pull requests, code reviews, and CI/CD workflows
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams
  • Interest in leveraging AI development tools such as Claude, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot

Nice to Have

  • Experience with data visualization libraries (D3, Recharts, Vega, etc.)
  • Experience contributing to component libraries or design systems
  • Open source contributions or a public GitHub portfolio
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
