Job description
The IT Site Lead manages the daily IT operations at our Glen Burnie, MD office, ensuring reliable technology services and acting as the primary liaison between the local business users and central IT functions. This role ensures the availability, security, and performance of IT infrastructure while providing leadership to the local IT support team. The IT Site Lead collaborates with business stakeholders and corporate IT teams to deliver technology solutions that support business objectives., + Lead and manage day-to-day IT operations for the assigned site
- Supervise and mentor local IT support staff and technicians
- Ensure timely resolution of hardware, software, network, and system issues
- Perform desktop, laptop, printer, mobile device, and peripheral support
- Coordinate installation, maintenance, and upgrades of IT infrastructure
- Monitor network connectivity, servers, and system performance
- Implement and enforce IT security policies and compliance standards
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls
- Coordinate with vendors for equipment procurement, maintenance, and support
- Support business continuity and disaster recovery initiatives
- Maintain IT asset inventory and software licensing
- Prepare IT operational reports, documentation, and performance metrics
- Participate in IT projects including system implementations, office moves, and technology upgrades
- Act as the primary liaison between site leadership and corporate IT teams
- Uphold compliance with company policies and industry regulations
- Complete other duties as assigned by the IT Director
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field
- 5-8+ years of IT support or infrastructure experience
- 2-5 years of leadership or supervisory experience

Strong knowledge of:
- Windows Server and Windows desktop environments
- Microsoft 365
- Active Directory
- Networking (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- VMware or Hyper-V virtualization
- ITSM tools (e.g., ManageEngine, ServiceNow, Jira)
- Endpoint management solutions
Experience with cybersecurity best practices
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Excellent communication and customer service abilities Preferred Certifications
- Microsoft Certified (Azure or Windows)
