AI Cloud Platform Engineer

Experteer Overview In this role you design, build, and scale intelligent systems across multi-cloud environments, bridging AI workloads with robust cloud infrastructure. You work with cross-functional teams to integrate AI features into user-focused products while upholding security and compliance. You’ll tackle scalable RAG pipelines, vector databases, and secure cloud deployments for a large user base. Compensation / Benefits * Design, implement, and support multi-cloud services using Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, ARM templates, etc.) * Build, optimize, and maintain production-grade Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines and semantic search systems * Design and manage data preprocessing workflows, chunking strategies, and vector database infrastructure * Build and maintain automation with PowerShell, Python, Azure CLI, Logic Apps, and Azure Functions * Configure and tune network security groups, application gateways, and other protective cloud controls * Manage compute, storage, networking, and database services across cloud environments with security/compliance * Collaborate with data scientists, UI/UX designers, and SMEs to integrate AI features into user-facing products * Establish and enforce security best practices for large language model implementations and data privacy Tasks * U.S. Citizenship * Ability to obtain DHS EOD Public Trust * BS/BA + 15 years or equivalency (AA + 17 years, MS + 12 years, or no degree + 21 years) * 10+ years of cloud/infrastructure engineering experience * Extensive hands-on cloud engineering experience in Azure, AWS, or GCP * Deep understanding of RAG architecture, vector databases, embedding techniques, and information retrieval systems * Expert Terraform skills with IaC experience * Experience operating production Kubernetes clusters (AKS/EKS) for AI/LLM workloads * Experience with containers (Docker) and CI/CD * Python scripting/programming abilities Key requirements * flexible time off * robust learning resources * competitive compensation * healthcare and wellness benefits * retirement plans * time off benefits
