Job description

We are seeking a Software Engineer I - Lab in our Broomfield, CO location to develop lab supervisory control and real-time program execution software. You will design, test, integrate, and support software used in engineering laboratory environments while collaborating with software leads and cross-functional engineering teams.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Quantum Information Science, or a related technical field\n
  • Due to Contractual requirements, must be a U.S. Person defined as, U.S. citizen permanent resident or green card holder, workers granted asylum or refugee status \n
  • Due to national security requirements imposed by the U.S. Government, candidates for this position must not be a People’s Republic of China national or Russian national unless the candidate is also a U.S. citizen. \n, * Experience integrating hardware and software in engineering laboratory environments\n
  • Experience developing software that visualizes and interfaces with laboratory equipment, sensors, or controllers\n
  • Experience with quantum circuits, quantum algorithms, or trapped ion quantum computers\n
  • Familiarity with Docker, Jenkins, and CI/CD workflows\n
  • Experience with real-time or embedded software\n
  • Experience with relational or key/value databases\n
  • Interest in compilers and technologies such as LLVM\n
  • Interest in quantum circuits, circuit optimization, or quantum algorithms\n
  • Enthusiasm for supporting deployed software and responding to user feedback\n
  • Strong problem-solving, written communication, and verbal communication skills\n

Benefits & conditions

The pay range for this role is $88,000 - $110,000 annually.
