IT Security Analyst Sr

Experteer Overview In this role you protect and strengthen the cybersecurity of medical devices and health tech across the hospital. You work with IT, Health Tech, Lab Systems, and Medical Imaging to identify threats, model risks, and drive mitigations that safeguard patient care. You will lead risk assessments and collaborate across departments to enable secure, reliable clinical technology. This is a chance to shape security design for life-critical devices in a leading pediatric environment. Compensation / Benefits * Provide cybersecurity expertise for medical devices and related technological solutions * Identify potential threats and develop mitigations based on product line and clinical context * Lead medical device cybersecurity risk assessments and mitigation initiatives * Perform threat modeling on device security architecture and assess cybersecurity risks and mitigations * Support process definition and improvements across security and operations * Plan and manage work independently within security and cross-functional teams * Provide technical consulting and collaboration to peers * Define cybersecurity requirements for design elements at the module level * Automate repeatable tasks to improve efficiencies and responses * Understand interdependencies of processes to achieve department and organizational objectives Tasks * Bachelor in Science or Engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience * Experience with product cybersecurity design, policies, support and maintenance * Experience with medical devices or other highly regulated applications * Engineering knowledge across multiple technical disciplines * Experience with security tools (Firewall, EPP, SIEM, Qualys, Rapid7) * Strong troubleshooting, creativity, foresight, innovation, and judgment * Excellent persuasion and consensus-building for cross-functional work * Proficiency in MS Office and statistical analysis * Ability to independently plan and manage own work to meet objectives * Demonstrated ethics, integrity, and customer focus Key requirements * Medical, dental and vision insurance * Employer paid group term life and disability * 403(b) with a 5% employer match * Paid Time Off (PTO) and Paid Holidays * Tuition assistance * Employee Assistance Program
