Systems Administrator Lead

Experteer Overview You will steer the enterprise infrastructure strategy across on-premises and cloud environments, aligning platforms with business goals. As a technical leader, you’ll guide architecture, security, and lifecycle management while driving modernization initiatives. You will partner with IT leadership to evaluate new technologies and oversee major projects, ensuring scalable, compliant, and resilient infrastructure. This role offers the opportunity to shape infrastructure governance, automation, and risk management at scale. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, reliable platforms that support critical operations. Compensation / Benefits * Lead design, architecture, and lifecycle management of enterprise infrastructure across on-premises and cloud * Develop infrastructure standards, governance, roadmaps, and best practices * Serve as senior escalation point for complex infrastructure, cloud, virtualization, storage, and identity issues * Drive infrastructure modernization, including cloud adoption, automation, security enhancements, and platform optimization * Ensure infrastructure security, scalability, resilience, and alignment with cybersecurity, compliance, and operations * Partner with IT leadership and stakeholders to evaluate emerging technologies and strategic investments * Oversee major infrastructure projects, upgrades, migrations, and vendor-delivered solutions * Mentor and guide Systems Administrators, Engineers, Help Desk, and IT staff * Manage vendor relationships, service performance, and contractual engagements * Maintain infrastructure documentation, architecture standards, procedures, and SOX compliance evidence Tasks * 10+ years IT infrastructure and systems administration experience or 8+ years with a Bachelor’s degree * Experience leading enterprise infrastructure initiatives and technical teams * Advanced knowledge of virtualization, storage, cloud, identity, backup, and disaster recovery * Strong experience with Azure, Microsoft 365, hybrid cloud, and infrastructure security * Experience developing standards, roadmaps, and governance processes * Familiarity with SOX, ITIL, and service management best practices * Understanding of Zero Trust principles and enterprise cybersecurity controls * Knowledge of networking, systems integration, and infrastructure architecture best practices Key requirements *
