Job description
- Develop and maintain vehicle localization architecture utilizing GNSS/RTK, LiDAR, visual localization, inertial navigation, and sensor fusion techniques.
- Develop behavior planning, motion planning, and vehicle control algorithms for autonomous navigation.
- Optimize computational performance, latency, and resource utilization on embedded computer platforms.
- Develop and maintain system requirements, interface specifications, and validation plans.
- Integrate autonomous hardware and software with vehicle electrical, controls, and sensor systems.
- Ensure the system performs reliably in real-world field conditions and support field testing and debugging.
- Work with cross functional leads such as product strategy to help define features and product requirements.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or other related field required.
- Years of Experience: 2+ years of relevant experience required.
- Software Knowledge: Python, C++, or similar programming language required; ROS2 architecture required., * Required Skills: Autonomy stacks such as NAV2. Understand sensor fusion (GPS, IMU, LiDAR, camera). Experience working with real-time embedded or robotic systems. Hands-on debugging and tuning in real-world environments.
- Preferred Skills: ROS2 (C++/Python) and robotics system integration. Navigation algorithms (A*, DWA, Pure Pursuit, MPC). RTK GPS integration and localization techniques. Vehicle control systems (CAN, drive-by-wire). Simulation integration (Isaac Sim / Gazebo).

Travel Requirements: ~20%-30% travel required to field test locations to support vehicle integration, autonomy tuning, performance validation, troubleshooting, and customer pilot deployments.

Valid driver’s license required.
