Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Shop Prefinish Specialist to join our team, specializing in millwork, windows, and doors. In this role, you will be responsible for custom matching stain/paint colors, applying finishes, assembling components, and ensuring the highest quality standards are met throughout the prefinish process. Your expertise in stain matching, woodworking, and basic mechanical knowledge will result in products that meet customer specifications. This position offers year round, full time work where precision, safety, and craftsmanship are paramount., * Prepare and finish millwork, windows, and doors to achieve desired quality and appearance.

  • Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely to move raw materials and finished products efficiently within the shop area.
  • Conduct quality inspections of finished product before staging for next step in the process.

Requirements

  • Proven experience with woodworking, millwork fabrication, or manufacturing environments involving windows and doors. (Experience MUST be listed on your resume to be considered)
  • Must have references available of past projects/work
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, tape measures, and paint tools.
  • Familiarity with millwork products, windows & doors.
  • Ability to operate forklifts safely; warehouse experience is a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail for custom color stain matching.
  • Strong teamwork skills with self motivation to move on to the next task throughout the day.
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs, stand for long periods of time, and go up and down stairs multiple times a day.
