AI Security Engineer

We’re partnering with our client, a dynamic technology company, to find a skilled AI Security Engineer. This remote-out of region-temporary role offers an exciting opportunity to support enterprise AI security initiatives. If you’re passionate about securing cutting-edge AI systems, this position is for you., * Provide tailored security guidance across diverse AI use cases, ensuring risk-aware implementation.

• Develop, document, and automate AI security policies and standards, including enforcement mechanisms.
• Stay informed on emerging AI tools, frameworks, and threats, translating research into actionable security measures.
• Design and maintain security controls for AI/ML and agentic systems across multiple cloud platforms.
• Collaborate on incident response, detection strategies, and compliance related to AI-specific threats and vulnerabilities.

• Over 5 years of software engineering experience, with proficiency in Python or similar languages.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML or GenAI security, including threat mitigation.
• Demonstrated ability to craft precise, testable security policies and translate them into automated enforcement.
• Strong understanding of AI/LLM security risks and familiarity with frameworks like NIST AI RMF, MITRE ATLAS, and OWASP Top 10.
• Experience with cloud security in AWS, GCP, or Azure, especially regarding native AI/ML tooling and security controls.
