Job description

We’re looking for a Senior Platform Engineer - SRE with a knack for security to join our Platform team and help run our infrastructure with excellency. You’ll work closely with other SRE engineers, software development teams and customer support, contributing to the stability and security of our platform. You are ready to bring your knowledge but also looking to grow with us as the company scales., * Design, build, and operate production-grade Kubernetes clusters on bare metal and cloud

  • Industrialize, automate, improve observability & monitoring
  • Continue to create a culture of service delivery excellence
  • Participate in on-call rotation, incident management, and post-incident reviews
  • Design and drive projects around DevSecOps practices in the company

Who You’ll Work With

  • You will be reporting to the VP Platform
  • You will be closely working with a Technical Product Manager, Platform Staff Engineers and other SRE engineers in the platform team and interfacing with software development teams as well as customer support managers.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Terraform?, * 6+ years of experience in SRE/Platform/Cloud engineering

  • Comfortable working in a remote, async-first and english environment
  • Strong technical skills:
  • Kubernetes
  • Linux
  • Ansible/Terraform
  • Observability stack (Grafana, Datadog, Prometheus)
  • ElasticSearch, RabbitMQ, Redis, Minio/S3
  • Proficiency in at least one major cloud provider (AWS / Azure / GCP)
  • Proficient in a development language: Python, Go, Java…
  • Practical experience with infrastructure security (network security, TLS, secrets, IAM/RBAC, vulnerability management)
  • soft skills:
  • Love / passion for open source world and culture.
  • Team player, you want to share your knowledge and mentor new comers.
  • Ability to take ownership on topics, combined with a strong collaborative mindset.
  • Adaptative to be able to navigate a scaling environment
