Job description
In-house ERP Specialist/ Administrator to become the resident expert and gatekeeper of our IQMS system. In this role, you will bridge the gap between our operations, data analysis, and technical support. You will be responsible for ensuring the system aligns with shop-floor and financial operations, generating custom reports to aid management in data-driven decision-making diagnosing system anomalies, managing our relationship with IQMS support, and driving key IT security initiatives. You will also provide new user training and custom training as required., ERP Mastery & Troubleshooting: Act as the primary internal contact for all IQMS issues. Diagnose software glitches, process bottlenecks, and data discrepancies.
Vendor Liaison: Own the relationship with IQMS support. Effectively document, submit, and escalate system bugs or enhancement requests to ensure swift resolution.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Design, develop, and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and queries (using SQL/Crystal Reports or internal IQMS tools) to support management decision-making.
IT Security Project Management: Partner with our outsourced IT security providers to audit user access, manage ERP permissions, oversee security compliance protocols, and ensure our internal data remains secure.
Documentation & Training: Create user guides for internal processes to eliminate reliance on external contractors and single points of failure. Maintaining compliance log for open and closed issues and other documentation as required by ISO 9001 system. Create user documentation as required, train floor and office employees on best practices and established work instructions.
Oversee Various Locations: Ability to travel to Company to facilities to ensure everything is running effectively when necessary - (NJ, PA, VA)
Requirements
Experience: 3+ years managing or heavily supporting an ERP system (Experience with IQMS / Delmiaworks is a massive plus); Experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL and database structures (Oracle preferred). Experience with business intelligence or reporting tools.
Project Management: Proven ability to manage IT or software implementation projects, specifically involving system security or user access control.
Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving skills, patience for teaching non-technical users, and the ability to challenge outside vendors to ensure we get the best service. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for prolong time, walk and use hands to hold or operate objects, tools or controls. Able to reach with hands and arms, kneel, bend, crouch, climb ladders/stairs and twist body if necessary.
