W2: Senior Integration Engineer

The Senior Integration Engineer will play a critical role in a major enterprise modernization effort involving Salesforce, Workday, and middleware technologies. This position will be responsible for architecting, developing, and supporting near real-time integrations between enterprise systems that enable seamless experiences for students, employees, and stakeholders. The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical expert with deep experience across Salesforce, Workday, and Boomi who can quickly contribute to complex integration initiatives and provide technical leadership on integration architecture and best practices. Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support integrations between Salesforce, Workday, and other enterprise applications.
• Build scalable, reliable, and secure data integrations using Boomi middleware and Workday integration technologies.
• Develop and maintain near real-time API integrations supporting critical business applications.
• Utilize Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), and Workday integration frameworks to accelerate development and deployment.
• Collaborate with Salesforce architects and development teams to ensure alignment with platform best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration and data synchronization issues across multiple systems.
• Monitor integration performance, data quality, and operational reliability.
• Document integration architecture, technical specifications, data mappings, and support procedures.
• Provide guidance on integration strategies, scalability considerations, and architectural decisions.

• 7+ years of enterprise integration experience.

• Hands-on expertise integrating:

• Salesforce
• Workday

• Boomi (Dell Boomi / AtomSphere)

• Experience designing and developing REST and SOAP API integrations.

Strong understanding of:

• Enterprise Integration Architecture
• Middleware Platforms
• Event-Driven Architectures
• Data Orchestration Patterns

Experience with:

• Workday Studio

• Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB)
• Workday Integration Frameworks
• Salesforce APIs
• Boomi Processes, Connectors, and API Management
• Proven experience troubleshooting complex cross-platform integrations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to influence technical teams and contribute to architectural decision-making.
