Job description
Marathon TS is looking for a Senior Java Focused Full Stack Developer to support the Tax and Trade Bureau. The selected candidate will support Agile Application Development technologies and capabilities in the areas of software development, systems engineering, integration, and test of software applications and infrastructure.
What You’ll Do
- Will work within a fast-paced Agile DevOps team contributing and collaborating within your scrum team on a daily basis.
- Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable Java-based backend services.
- Build RESTful APIsand optimize data models
- Manage database schema changes with Liquibase
- Implement authentication and authorization using Keycloak
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in IT or related discipline
- Minimum 5+ years Agile Software Development experience
- Proficient in Java and Spring Boot
- Proficient in Frontend UI development with JavaScript frameworks. Preference is Angular
- Experience developing in a Docker environment
- Experience deploying microservices to Kubernetes platforms
- Experience writing queries with relational databases
- Experience with test driven development
- Excellent communication skills and strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
Nice to haves:
- Experience working with Azure tools and environments
- Automated Test-Driven Development (ATDD) frameworks Selenium, Nightwatch, Cucumber, JUnit/TestNG
- Web technologies - HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, jQuery
- Experience working with Jenkins Continuous integration tools and DevOps automation, * Are you able/willing to pass a background check?
- Do you have experience supporting federal clients? (REQUIRED)
- How many years of experience do you have with JavaScript frameworks, specifically Angular?
