Job description

Join a dynamic and collaborative team as an Information Technology Project Manager, reporting directly to the Director of Information Technologies. This role is responsible for the efficient administration and management of IT projects that support both business and technical objectives. The position serves as a key liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget., * Assist in planning, establishing, and managing short- and long-term IT projects under the direction of the Director of Information Technologies.

  • Serve as a liaison between business units and technical teams to align project goals and expectations.
  • Coordinate day-to-day project workflows and provide oversight to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Manage assigned IT projects, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and scope.
  • Develop, maintain, and revise project proposals, including objectives, technologies, timelines, funding, and staffing requirements.
  • Monitor and adjust project schedules to account for unforeseen delays, realigning expectations as needed.
  • Establish and implement project communication plans, providing regular status updates to stakeholders and management.
  • Collect, analyze, and summarize project information and trends to prepare status reports.
  • Maintain a working understanding of network infrastructure, servers, operating systems, and application software to accurately scope projects and support technical staff.
  • Utilize knowledge of PHP and manufacturing-related applications to communicate effectively with programming staff.
  • Reinforce company core values through consistent communication and professional behavior.
  • Participate in company committees and assist other departments as needed.
  • Perform other duties as necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of the position.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in computer science, information science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Three or more years of IT-related work experience, including server, network, or systems administration in a networked environment.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and planning.
  • Working knowledge of network infrastructure, servers, operating systems (Windows required; Linux beneficial), and application software.
  • Familiarity with PHP is desirable.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Excellent analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to manage time effectively, work under pressure, and motivate teams to meet project deadlines.
  • Professional demeanor, integrity, and ability to build positive working relationships across departments.
  • Comfortable with numeric and budgetary work, including budgets, estimates, and basic statistics.

Benefits & conditions

Offered compensation: $90,000/yr - $115,000/yr
