Job description

Develop, maintain, and improve our WordPress website.

  • Build and update pages using Elementor.
  • Improve website speed, Core Web Vitals, and overall performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Ensure the website is fully responsive across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
  • Implement technical SEO best practices.
  • Integrate forms, tracking tools, APIs, and third-party platforms when needed.
  • Improve website functionality, user experience, and conversion performance.
  • Maintain website security, backups, and stability.
  • Work closely with the marketing and SEO team on website improvements and new projects.
  • Recommend plugins, tools, and development solutions when appropriate., * Did you review the Collaborative Office Interiors website before applying? If yes, what was the first issue, improvement opportunity, or area you noticed?
  • If you joined our team, what would be the first technical or performance improvement you would recommend for our website, and why?

Requirements

At least 3 years of WordPress development experience.

  • Strong experience working with Elementor.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
  • Experience with custom WordPress development.
  • Strong knowledge of website speed and performance optimization.
  • Understanding of technical SEO and Core Web Vitals.
  • Experience with responsive and mobile-friendly development.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote position.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to manage tasks, meet deadlines, and communicate progress clearly.

Preferred Qualifications

  • WooCommerce experience.
  • Experience with Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager.
  • Knowledge of schema markup.
  • Experience with Cloudflare and CDN optimization.
  • UI and UX knowledge.
  • Experience working with B2B or commercial service websites.
