Requirements

Oracle/SQL Server application development

Oracle database administration - patching, upgrade install and support
UNIX shell scripting, sftp knowledge
Experience with large databases, in the 5-10 TB range
Working knowledge of supported platforms, including Linux and Windows Server
Ability to stay current with Oracle and SQL Server development tools and related technologies
Ability to provide Oracle and SQL Server application development training and mentoring
Oracle and SQL Server application and database performance tuning
Oracle and SQL Server application and database design and sizing
Ability to work closely with the team to support business growth
Ability to accurately track and report time spent on assignments
Commitment to maintaining the integrity of the organization’s efforts
Microsoft office Excel - Pivot tables

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
At least 3 years of relevant experience, including strong knowledge of Oracle as the primary platform and Microsoft SQL Server as a secondary platform
Ability to build packages, procedures, and functions using PL/SQL and T/SQL to support application and database development
Experience with database management tools, utilities, and performance tuning
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Ability to understand client requirements and translate them into future database features
Ability to work from the Westbrook, Maine office during training and onboarding, then follow a hybrid schedule with at least two days per week in the office
Residence within a 120-mile commuting distance of the Westbrook, Maine office
