Job description
The Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) Support Lead is responsible for the operational support, administration, and governance of the Google Cloud Platform infrastructure that enables the Gemini Enterprise deployment. This role oversees platform operations, license management, identity and access controls, connector readiness, security compliance, and service monitoring to ensure a secure, stable, and scalable environment. The position works closely with Google, internal engineering teams, and business stakeholders to support platform adoption, feature enablement, issue resolution, and ongoing operational excellence., * Own and manage the operational support of Google Cloud Platform infrastructure supporting the Gemini Enterprise platform.
- Administer Gemini Enterprise licenses, including provisioning, deprovisioning, usage tracking, and coordination with Google.
- Manage identity and access controls, including Google Identity Federation and integration with enterprise authentication solutions.
- Support onboarding, configuration, and operational readiness of Gemini Enterprise connectors and integrations.
- Monitor platform health, performance, availability, and operational metrics across Google Cloud Platform services.
- Drive security remediation activities by identifying, tracking, and resolving platform security findings and compliance gaps.
- Partner with security, infrastructure, and engineering teams to maintain adherence to enterprise security and governance standards.
- Coordinate platform-side readiness activities with Google and internal stakeholders for feature releases, updates, and enhancements.
- Collaborate with the Gemini Enterprise Engineering Lead to support feature validation, testing, and deployment readiness.
- Manage escalations with Google support teams and facilitate timely issue resolution for platform and service-related incidents.
- Develop and maintain operational procedures, support documentation, and knowledge base articles.
- Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for platform incidents and service disruptions.
- Ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs), operational standards, and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience supporting cloud infrastructure platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform administration, monitoring, security, and identity management.
- Strong understanding of Google Identity Federation and enterprise authentication technologies.
- Experience managing SaaS platform licensing, access provisioning, and user lifecycle management.
- Knowledge of cloud security principles, vulnerability remediation, and compliance requirements.
- Experience working with third-party vendors and managing technical escalations.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Google Cloud certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Cloud Security Engineer, or equivalent).
- Experience supporting AI/Generative AI platforms, including Gemini Enterprise.
- Familiarity with enterprise collaboration and productivity ecosystems.
- Experience with service management frameworks such as ITIL.
