Job description

Tesla is seeking a Mobile Endpoint Engineer based in North America. This role is ideal for a highly technical professional who thrives under pressure, enjoys solving complex problems, can navigate ambiguity, and is motivated by work that goes beyond routine IT tasks. The successful candidate will be responsible for device lifecycle management, mobile security compliance, application deployment, hardware evaluation, and secure access to corporate resources across iOS and Android devices. This is a unique opportunity to support the broader IT Manufacturing organization and address the complex challenges of enabling production, R&D, and test teams while maintaining a strong security posture.   • Administer and support cloud-based Workspace ONE UEM environment
  • Configure and manage device enrollment (DEP/ABM, Android Enterprise ZTE)
  • Working with teams to understand their need and how it can be adapted to our standards
  • Support ITMFG teams with troubleshooting enrollment, policy configuration, and application deployment issues
  • Support troubleshooting mobile printers, ZCP, ThingFinder and PrintApp
  • Implement and maintain device compliance policies, profiles, and security configurations that meet all InfoSec guidelines
  • Support OS upgrades and device lifecycle management
  • Explore new technologies to improve the offering of tools and services
  • Coordinate with vendors and manufactures on new and EOL products and collaborate with InfoSec, networking, and endpoint teams
  • Provide Tier 2/3 support and user training when needed

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Enterprise Mobile Device Management and hands-on experience as a system admin
  • Experience in large enterprise environments (5,000+ devices)
  • Strong knowledge of iOS and Android operating systems
  • Experience troubleshooting hardwired and wireless networks
  • Experience with Certificate-based authentication, SSO, identity, REST API, and Azure AD / Active Directory integrations
  • Understanding of mobile security best practices and compliance frameworks
  • Strong hardware/software troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
  • Strong communication & problem-solving skills
  • This role requires an onsite presence

Expected Compensation $100,000 - $336,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
