Lead Java Developer

• Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Architect and implement RESTful APIs and web services to facilitate seamless integration across distributed systems.
• Oversee code reviews, enforce coding standards, and promote continuous improvement through Agile methodologies.
• Develop and maintain backend systems utilizing Java frameworks such as Spring Boot, Hibernate (Entity Framework equivalent), and WCF.
• Design database schemas and optimize queries for relational databases like Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL options such as MongoDB.
• Implement automated testing strategies including unit testing, integration testing, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure robust deployment cycles.
• Mentor junior developers on system design principles, multithreading techniques, version control practices (Git, SVN), and debugging methodologies.
• Ensure application scalability by leveraging cloud infrastructure services such as AWS or Azure for deployment.
• Participate in system design discussions using UML diagrams; contribute to documentation including XSLT transformations and UML models.
• Maintain high standards of security, performance tuning, and compliance with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) processes.

• Proven experience as a Lead Java Developer or similar senior role with a minimum of five years in software engineering.
• Extensive knowledge of Java programming language along with frameworks such as Spring MVC/Boot, React Express for full-stack capabilities.
• Strong understanding of front-end development including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ReactJS, Bootstrap for UI integration.
• Proficiency in developing RESTful APIs using REST principles; experience with SOAP-based web services is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with distributed systems architecture, cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure), and microservices design.
• Familiarity with database design principles for relational databases (SQL T-SQL) as well as NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
• Expertise in version control tools such as GitHub or TFS; familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies; experience working within Scrum or Kanban frameworks.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to debug complex issues efficiently across multiple environments.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively across diverse teams globally.
