Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our team. You will be responsible for interpreting data, analyzing results, and providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making across various departments.

Responsibilities:

Interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques and tools.

Develop and maintain data collection systems and data analytics strategies.

Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.

Prepare reports and dashboards that communicate trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data.

Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs.

Acquire data from primary or secondary sources and maintain databases/data systems.

Filter and “clean” data by reviewing reports and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems.

Contribute to team projects and cross-functional initiatives by providing data-driven insights.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages such as SQL, Python, R, or Excel.

Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.

Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.

Understanding of database management, data mining, and data cleaning.

Additional Skills:

Experience working with large datasets and data warehouses.

Familiarity with business intelligence processes and KPI tracking.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
