The role extends beyond traditional project delivery. It will help manage the full lifecycle of data work:

Request ? prioritization ? execution ? delivery ? adoption ? action ? measurable contribution

AI-enabled working is a core expectation. The successful candidate will use approved generative AI, automation, and project-management tools to rapidly understand the team’s work, structure ambiguous information, improve communication, automate routine coordination, identify risks, and increase personal and team productivity.

  • Establish clear objectives, owners, priorities, milestones, dependencies, risks, and success criteria.
  • Partner with data-team leadership to prioritize work based on ministry value, organizational need, urgency, effort, risk, and available capacity.
  • Develop consistent processes for project intake, scoping, prioritization, status reporting, and follow-through.
  • Identify stalled decisions, conflicting priorities, unclear ownership, and scope changes before they materially affect delivery.
  • Facilitate useful planning sessions, project reviews, stakeholder updates, and retrospectives without introducing unnecessary bureaucracy.

Stakeholder Partnership

  • Translate stakeholder needs into clear problem statements, requirements, decisions, and measurable objectives.
  • Translate technical findings, limitations, and recommendations into understandable operational and executive language.
  • Identify the appropriate sponsor, decision-maker, operational owner, and beneficiary for significant initiatives.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations, commitments, dependencies, and follow-up.
  • Ensure stakeholders understand what was delivered, what the evidence supports, what remains uncertain, and what action is recommended.

Insight Activation and Impact Tracking

  • Maintain a system for tracking significant insights from discovery through stakeholder decision, action, and outcome.
  • Ensure material recommendations are assigned to a named stakeholder or decision owner.
  • Obtain and document an explicit disposition for important recommendations, such as accepted, deferred, modified, or declined.
  • Follow up on accepted recommendations to determine whether action was taken and what resulted.
  • Help define expected benefits, baseline measures, targets, outcome indicators, and measurement plans for qualifying projects.
  • Track evidence of the data team’s financial, operational, audience, donor, and ministry contributions.
  • Partner with data scientists and analysts to distinguish direct attribution from broader evidence-supported contribution.
  • Develop concise portfolio reporting and case studies demonstrating how data-team work supports Hope Media Group’s mission.

AI-Enabled Operations

  • Use approved AI and automation tools as a normal part of daily work.
  • Turn meetings, transcripts, emails, and documentation into reviewed summaries, decisions, tasks, risks, and follow-up actions.
  • Use AI to draft project briefs, requirements, agendas, status updates, stakeholder communications, and executive summaries.
  • Develop reusable prompts, templates, agents, and automated workflows that reduce repetitive administrative work.
  • Use AI to identify missing requirements, unresolved questions, contradictory assumptions, project risks, and potential scope drift.
  • Review and verify AI-generated work and protect confidential information in accordance with organizational standards.
  • Identify and measure additional opportunities for AI to improve the team’s speed, quality, and effectiveness.

Knowledge Management and Improvement
