Job Summary: The SharePoint Developer will support the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division Dam Neck Activity (NSWCDD DNA) by designing, developing, and maintaining SharePoint-based solutions that enhance collaboration, data management, and mission effectiveness. This role directly supports IT portfolio management, financial tracking, and enterprise collaboration across RDT&E and NMCI/NGEN environments. Be able to work independently as well as assist in organizing team support and customer status tracking., o Perform analysis, design, hands-on development, and delivery of enterprise business applications primarily utilizing the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and SharePoint Online.
o Manage and support the SharePoint Online and Power Platform information architecture for Development, Test, and Production environments utilizing modern browser-based configuration and the Power Platform Admin Center.
o Provide development, modernization and enhancement services by developing solutions to improve the user experience, ease of use and efficiency of SharePoint pages/applications in the environment.
o Develop and maintain SharePoint training to provide users guidance on how to use SharePoint.
o Be knowledgeable of SharePoint Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) and support the Agency in the review and identification of STIGs that are applicable to SharePoint, as well as applicable databases and the operating systems that SharePoint runs on.
o Have impressive verbal and written communication skills
o Perform regular reviews and updates to existing documentation such as SOPs, standards and implementation guides
Requirements
3 Years’ experience as System Administration experience in a DoD environment
o Prefer NAVY direct support
o Requires 3+ years of progressive development experience specifically focused on Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and SharePoint Online.
o Requires experience managing SharePoint Online information architecture and developing solutions utilizing modern Microsoft Cloud services and data sources (e.g., Dataverse, SharePoint Lists, SQL connections).
o Requires experience in SharePoint development projects using agile development methodologies.
o Requires DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE).
o DoD Secret Security Clearance, * SharePoint administration: 2 years (Required)
License/Certification:
- CompTIA Security+ (Required)
