Job description

This position is for Engineering and manufacturing Tech, for performing functions and tasks associated with the area of High Performance Computing Racks. This includes working with engineers for Server and Rack installation, cabling and set-up, validation of rack/system health and Trouble shooting.

Job duties also include performing rework of servers, quality testing related to the components, subassemblies and final assemblies. This requires use of sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments or equipment.

Top Responsibilities

  • Build and Assemble Servers

  • T/S Server/Rack Powerup issues

  • Route Cables and Connect inter and intra racks.

  • Logistics and Hardware RMA Management
  • Create Interconnect and OMS Diagrams.
  • Create Documentation for Cabling

  • Train ATE’s and Upgrade Engineers.

Requirements

  • Experience with Server/Rack Hardware.

  • Ability to do Cable Management, Routing, and modification

  • Good work ethic with through follow-through and closure.

  • Experience with using layout and schematics tools including Visio.

  • Experience with Windows and a Linux OS installation, OS/Data Backup, Recovery

Minimum Qualifications

Requires a minimum of 4 - 6 years of related experience

Base Pay Range: $32.07 - $54.52 Per Hour
