Job description
The Systems Integration & Validation Engineer is responsible for integrating, testing, validating, and troubleshooting power electronics and electrical power systems throughout the product development lifecycle. The role works closely with Engineering, Program Management, Manufacturing, and Quality to verify system performance, support qualification testing, resolve technical issues, and ensure products meet customer, regulatory, and military/aerospace requirements., · Develop and execute system integration, verification, validation, and quality test plans for new and existing products.
· Perform functional, electrical, environmental, and EMI/EMC testing in accordance with customer, military, and aerospace standards.
· Integrate, troubleshoot, and validate complex power electronics and electrical power systems to ensure performance requirements are achieved.
· Analyze test results, document findings, and provide technical recommendations to support product development and continuous improvement.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues, support design verification, and ensure successful product implementation.
· Participate in design reviews, customer technical discussions, and root cause investigations to improve product reliability and performance.
· Develop and maintain laboratory test methods, equipment, and documentation to support engineering and New Product Introduction (NPI) activities.
· Maintain a safe laboratory environment and ensure compliance with company safety policies and applicable regulations.
· Demonstrate safe behavior at all times and ensure others in the working area are safe and not exposed to significant risk.
· Other duties as required and/or assigned.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with electrical systems testing to military and aerospace standards, strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, and the ability to develop and execute rigorous test plans. A background in power electronics and laboratory instrumentation is essential to success in this role., · Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

· Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without accommodation (ADA).
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
· Three or more years of experience in systems integration, validation, testing, or power electronics.
· Experience testing electrical systems to military and aerospace standards.
· Experience with power electronics, electrical troubleshooting, and laboratory instrumentation.
· Must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR (U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee). This position requires access to information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
Preferred Qualifications
· Aerospace or defense industry experience.
· Familiarity with MIL-STD test standards and AS9100 quality management systems.
· Experience supporting NPI qualification and production transition activities.
